The Efficacious Educator Book Club
A space for school leaders and educators to read, reflect, and grow together.
This year, we’ll explore six thought-provoking books on education, leadership, and student engagement. Every other month, we’ll gather for a recorded 60-minute conversation to share insights, ask questions, and connect research to practice.
How it works:
Six books a year – one every other month, chosen by the group to challenge and inspire.
Flexible participation – join the live discussion or just listen in.
Practical takeaways – each conversation focuses on how ideas translate into classrooms and schools.
Shared learning – recordings will also be shared as podcast episodes, amplifying your voice in a wider conversation.
We’ll gather in mid-October for our first conversation — I’d love for you to join us.
Our first read is The Disengaged Teen: Helping Kids Learn Better, Feel Better, and Live Better. This book is packed with research and insight, and I’ve found it meaningful not only as an educator, but also as a parent and school leader.
